PURPOSE: This study compared upper trapezius (UT) muscle stiffness between office workers with and without chronic neck pain using shear-wave elastography (SWE), and investigated the relationship between UT muscle stiffness, pain-related neck disability, fear-avoidance beliefs, and work ability.

AIM: This mini review explored the prevalence of white-coat hypertension (WCH), which is very common in children. It results in elevated office blood pressure (BP) but normal ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM) readings.
METHODS: WCH can only be identified by analysing and comparing office BP readings and ABPM, which periodically records BP every 20-30 minutes over 24-hour period. BACKGROUND: We identified substantial heterogeneity in the perioperative management of antithrombotic drugs in skin surgery in Germany in 2012 and 2017 in two cross-sectional surveys. The first national guideline on this subject was published in 2014 and updated in 2021. We sought to identify whether the management of these drugs had changed.

Providers of reproductive health services, including clinics and office-based physicians, face new challenges as the American health system progresses toward managed care. Although services for low-income women are often subsidized, the average out-of-pocket payments for reproductive health services are the same for women with incomes below and above 200% of the poverty level.
