Three cases of sternal cleft are treated. In two cases direct approximation of the two sternal halves have been possible in neonatal period. The third case was seen later at 11 months: the cleft was 5 cm wide, we used autogenous periostal graft in two layers, the first in depth, the second above the sternal halves. This technique have given a good clinical and radiological result for two years. She must be reserved for the wide and "old" sternal cleft.

Two turret exostoses in one hand were simultaneously excised--one with good results, one with recurrence of adhesions. Photographic documentation, starting with the original injury, shows that the periosteum was widely lacerated. Tenolysis with fat tissue graft interposition failed. A new technique of periodontal flap surgery was performed on 5 patients with severe periodontal recessions of the upper or lower anterior teeth. The procedure begins with a thorough root and soft tissue scaling. For the surgical approach the periosteum was incised and mobilized at the apical part of the mucoperiosteum flap; it will further be used to cover the defect. The mucoperiosteum flap is then readapted and sutured.
