Cancer is a serious threat to human life and social development and the use of scientific methods for cancer prevention and control is necessary. In this study, HQSAR, CoMFA, CoMSIA and TopomerCoMFA methods are used to establish models of 65 imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine derivatives to explore the quantitative structure-activity relationship between their anticancer activities and molecular conformations. The results show that the cross-validation coefficients q2 of HQSAR, CoMFA, CoMSIA and TopomerCoMFA are 0.892, 0.866, 0.877 and 0.905, respectively. The non-cross-validation coefficients r2 are 0.94

This study examined the association between violence exposures and HIV risk behaviors among 409 adolescents and whether such associations are gendered. Results indicated that adolescents exposed to either childhood sexual abuse or family or community violence were almost 3 and 4 times more likely, respectively, than peers not exposed to such violence to report a higher number of HIV-related risk behaviors. This study explored the relationship between gay identity-related factors (gay community involvement, gay bar attendance, gay identity importance, and self-homophobia) and unprotected anal sex (UA) in the past 3 months among men who have sex with men (MSM) of three different race/ethnicity groups. Three suicides occurred within 3 years in a military unit of 35 individuals. This represented an annual rate 220 times the North American average. The present study is based on the hypothesis that patients with recurrent attacks of aphonia differ from those with non-recurring attacks of aphonia in their anxiety levels, social assertiveness and stress-coping strategies. A comparison was made between 21 women with recurring aphonia and 19 women with non-recurring aphonia with respect to these three factors. Seventeen healthy women served as volunteers. Antibody to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)-associated retroviruses (ARVs) was investigated in 68 pediatric patients with abnormalities of T-cell and/or B-cell immunity.
