To share our institutional experience of placing individually designed fully covered self-expandable metal stents (FCSEMSs) for the treatment of refractory benign esophageal strictures (RBESs) in pediatric patients. A 10-year retrospective study between May 2009 and July 2020 that includes 14 children with RBESs who were treated with individually designed FCSEMSs. INTRODUCTION: A peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) is widely used for long chemotherapy regimens or total parenteral nutrition. However, spontaneous migration of the catheter into the azygos vein after satisfactory initial placement has occurred in rare cases.

PURPOSE: To report thirteen years of experience with endoscopic-assisted endonasal primary conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy (CDCR) and revision with Jones tube placement in Korean patients.
METHODS: Thirty-three patients who underwent primary endoscopic endonasal CDCR with a Jones tube and were followed for over 6 months and 22 patients who underwent revision CDCR were retrospectively reviewed. We evaluated the cause of obstruction, operation time, tube length, success rate (at 6, 12 and 24 months), and the cause of failure for primary and revision procedures.

We report a case of progressive dyspnea and recurrent pneumonia after uneventful coronary artery bypass graft surgery caused by migration of retained epicardial pacing wires into the right upper lobe of the lung. Removal of the wires by open thoracotomy resulted in significant improvement in dyspnea and near complete resolution of the bronchiectasis and consolidation.
