A Phase II study of UFT for head and neck cancer was conducted in 10 institutions. UFT is a mixture of Futraful and uracil. Eighty-four patients entered this trial, of which 60 were evaluable. UFT was administered orally at a daily dose of 600 mg/day. Eight patients achieved complete response and 10 achieved partial response with an over-all response rate of 30.0 %. INTRODUCTION: Diffuse large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) is a heterogeneous group of malignant tumors with diverse prognoses, histological appearances, and clinical symptoms. While it commonly affects lymphoid tissues, its occurrence in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is rare and poses significant diagnostic challenges.
CASE PRESENTATION: The authors present a case of a 53-year-old man with a history of testicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma treated 5 months prior. He presented with symptoms initially misdiagnosed as a dental abscess, which was later identified as DLBCL in the maxillary sinus.

Conidiobolomycosis is a subcutaneous mycosis of the facial midline affecting primarily adult males. It is caused by the saprophytic fungus, Conodiobolus coronatus, present in soils and dried vegetables, characteristic of intertropical regions. C. coronatus belongs to the class Zygomycetes, order Entomophthorales; it is a fungus composed of thick, short hyphae that grows at temperatures between 30 degrees C and 37 degrees C and causes nasal granulomas. The histologic findings are described of a case of conidiobolomycosis in a 31-year-old male, born and resident in the Urabá region of Colombia.

Eight cases of a highly aggressive undifferentiated carcinoma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses are described. The patients, who ranged in age from 30-77 years, had multiple sinonasal symptoms, and each had involvement of the nasal cavity, maxillary antrum, and ethmoid sinus. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: With the ongoing development of intraoral surgical treatment and invasive dental treatments such as implants, odontogenic rhinosinusitis (ORS) is on the rise. ORS related to dental implants accounts for 8% to 37% of cases. The purpose of this study is to define the characteristics of patients with ORS related to dental implants.
METHODS: From 2015 to 2019, the medical records of 15 patients who developed maxillary sinus disease after receiving dental implants were retrospectively analyzed among patients who visited the ear nose and throat and dentistry departments.
