Key characteristics of palliative care integration in intensive care units (ICUs): A scoping review.

BACKGROUND: Intensive care units (ICUs) are increasingly managing patients with greater clinical complexity and life-limiting conditions. Systematic review evidence highlights that early palliative care, integrated alongside active treatment and not solely at end-of-life, can significantly improve outcomes for both patients and their families. Despite evidence on the effectiveness of palliative care integration models in the ICU setting, the specific characteristics for integration remain poorly articulated and insufficiently understood. OBJECTIVES: To systematically map key characteristics o

Methods and evidence in economic evaluations of modern radiotherapy: a systematic mapping review protocol.

INTRODUCTION: Modern radiotherapy modalities have increased treatment precision and clinical effectiveness. However, the economic evidence that underpins their adoption is highly heterogeneous, with substantial variation in costing methods, data sources, analytic designs (trial-based, real-world/observational and decision-analytic modelling), perspectives and the treatment of uncertainty. We propose a systematic mapping review to characterise the peer-reviewed evidence base and identify methodological gaps relevant to health technology assessment and policy-making. This systematic mapping revi

Socio-economic assessment of dog population management systems: a scoping review.

INTRODUCTION: Dog Population Management (DPM) systems primarily aim to reduce the free-roaming dog population, improve the health and welfare of humans and dogs, and foster their peaceful coexistence. A key challenge to resource allocation and evidence-based policy making in DPM is the rare evaluation of the associated socio-economic impacts. This scoping review identifies, maps, and summarizes published parameters and methods on the socio-economic aspect of DPM systems. METHODS: Following PRISMA-ScR guidelines, and with a protocol registered on the Open Science Framework, this review explore
