This paper reports simultaneous occurrence of cryptorchidism and testicular tumor in three brothers within a single family. Eight childhood cancer patients with herpes zoster were serially tested for the presence of varicella-zoster virus in blood. Cell cultures of leukocyte-rich plasma from four patients were positive for the virus. Carcinoma of the uterine cervix is the commonest tumour in India. Our study on the biological behaviour of cervical carcinoma was made with respect to oncofetoprotein expression, histopathology and scanning electron microscopy. A clinical picture was compared with the above three parameters to note the embryonic degeneration of the tumour. The objective of this study was to establish a new grading system of tumour pathology which might be an adjunct to clinical staging. This should be helpful for the formulation of different treatment protocols.

INTRODUCTION: Metaplastic breast carcinoma (MpBC) is a rare neoplasm accounting for < 1% of all breast cancer (BC). It is characterized by histologic and molecular heterogeneity with differentiation into subtypes including squamous cells and/or mesenchymal-like elements, such as spindle, chondroid, and osseous. Four cases of CDDP allergic reaction (CDDP reaction) are reported. CDDP was given intravenously with vinka-alkaloid and bleomycin or cyclophosphamide (CDDP combination therapy).
