BACKGROUND: Our study aimed to investigate the embryological characteristics and clinical outcomes of oocytes with indented zona pellucida (iZP).
METHODS: Cases with all oocytes containing iZP were compared with subjects whose oocytes presented morphologically normal ZP (nZP, controls), regarding embryological and clinical outcomes.
