Two patients were diagnosed as having unilateral iris pigment epithelial (IPE) cysts that were documented to enlarge and induce angle closure. Transpupillary IPE cystotomies were performed using the Nd:YAG laser as a prophylactic measure to prevent angle-closure glaucoma. PURPOSE: To assess the outcomes of glaucoma surgery in patients with a history of scleritis at a tertiary medical center.
METHODS: The retrospective case series included patients with a history of scleritis who required glaucoma surgery between 4/2006 and 8/2021.

We present a previously undescribed case of a persistent hypotony maculopathy secondary to an iatrogenic cyclodialysis cleft created during XEN-45 gel stent insertion. We present this case as a further analysis of the Karimi et al case of cyclopexy by the corresponding surgeon.
