Prostate cancer commonly manifests with bony metastases. Visceral metastasis can also occur in the lungs and liver. However, stomach metastasis related to prostate cancer is rare. Here, we report a case of prostate cancer metastatic to the stomach. A 66-year-old male was diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma. Neonatal paraesophageal hernia with intrathoracic gastric volvulus is very rare in the newborn period. We report a case of a 2-day-old term neonate who presented with an antenatal diagnosis of paraesophageal hernia. We discuss the diagnosis and management with classical radiological features including an antenatal diagnosis of this extremely rare surgical cause of neonatal nonbilious emesis.

In addition to treatment of complications from peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux and gastric cancer, bariatric surgical procedures have increased over the recent years. Complications after gastric surgery are imaged with upper gastrointestinal contrast studies and CT. This imaging is not always easy and it is important for radiologists to know the different types of surgical techniques and to be familiar with normal postoperative anatomical and pathological findings.

BACKGROUND: Metastases to the stomach from an extra-gastric neoplasm are an unusual event, identified in less than 2% of cancer patients at autopsy. The stomach may be involved by hematogenous spread from a distant primary (most commonly breast, melanoma or lung), or by contiguous spread from an adjacent malignancy, such as the pancreas, esophagus and gallbladder. Results of surgical treatment of patients with gastric ulcer and cancer of the stomach using resection of the stomach with Roux technique were analyzed. Acid-producing and evacuatory functions of the stomach were assessed in different periods after surgery. We report a rare case of leiomyosarcoma of stomach infiltrating into the spleen and tail of pancreas, which presented at the age of 28 years of age with haematemesis and was diagnosed after exploratory laparotomy. We report a 54-year-old patient with a complaint of weakness, abdominal pain and weight loss. During the clinical examination a palpable tumor resistance in the abdomen was found as well as iron deficiency anemia. Gastroscopy showed an exulcerated, dark brown, fungiform tumor about 4 cm in diameter at the great curve of stomach. INTRODUCTION: The stomach is the most common extranodal site of the low-grade MALT lymphoma. This lymphoma usually appears in elderly patients, with typically indolent signs. At the time of the diagnosis, the lymphoma is usually localized in the stomach and/or the adjacent lymph nodes. Malignant melanoma of the stomach is a very rare tumour. In all publications the authors express their suspicion of metastases to the gastric wall which must be carefully excluded. In our case of a 75-year-old man, the diagnosis of a large gastric melanoma (diameter 10 cm) was established by explorative laparotomy.
