Meatal stenosis is a complication that can occur after hypospadias surgery. Although there are many different surgical techniques that can solve this problem, once it has occurred, meatal stenosis can be difficult to treat. To decrease meatal stenosis risk and to achieve an anatomically placed, aesthetically pleasing meatal opening, a new W flap was designed for glanuloplasty. Local clinical control of the primary disease was evaluated in 209 patients with stage C adenocarcinoma of the prostate treated with definitive external beam radiation therapy and followed for a minimum of 2 years. As an alternative to bladder mucosa, free grafts of tubularized peritoneum were used as urethral substitutes in a rabbit model of hypospadias. In group 1, six mature rabbits underwent partial penile urethrectomy followed by interposition of a 2-cm-long peritoneal-lined tube graft. High vaginal atresia is a very rare anomaly seen in the most severely masculinized females with congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
