Thymomas are a rare tumor entity. However, they represent 50 % of all tumors of the anterior mediastinum. There are no specific early symptoms. Overall in 10 - 15 % of patients with myasthenia gravis a thymoma is evident. Two major classifications are relevant in clinical practise: the Masaoka-classification and the WHO-classification. Hypersomnia or excessive daytime sleepiness is common in neurological practice and may have different etiologies. Hypersomnia may be defined as sleepiness at an inappropriate time or in an inappropriate situation. It is important to consider that hypersomnia is at times referred to as tiredness or fatigue. A detailed clinical history is essential to reach an accurate diagnosis. Shoulder instability includes different degrees of instability from painful hyperlaxity to subluxation to dislocation. Different classifications of shoulder instability have been created in order to facilitate decision making for treatment. None of these, however, has gained acceptance. Subject to the indications, shoulder instability can be treated conservatively or surgically after repositioning the acute dislocation. A survey of arthroscopic and open stabilization procedures and their results are given in relation to the indications.

There are multiple methods for evaluating the degree of deformity, all of which are expensive, time consuming, and have poor reproducibility. We studied the interobserver agreement of two radiographic classification systems for evaluation of glenohumeral arthrosis in 40 patients at long-term follow-up after the Eden Hybbinette operation for habitual dislocation of the anterior shoulder. Cutaneous lymphomas are rare and although some are a manifestation of systemic lymphoma, the majority arise primarily from the skin. These primary cutaneous lymphomas comprise predominantly T cell subtypes and represent a wide spectrum of disorders.
