The effects of chronic local irritation have been seen commonly in the form of fibroma or mucocele in children. We report a nine year old girl with the chief complaint of multiple swellings in the lower lip which was diagnosed both clinically and histologically as fibroma and mucocele. Surgical excision was done under local anesthesia with no post-operative complications. To our knowledge there was no other occurrence, either at the same site or at different locations, involving these two lesions in the oral mucosa.

Peripheral cemento-ossifying fibroma is a gingival lesion of reactive nature and unknown etiology. Such a lesion can either interfere with normal tooth eruption or become a factor in plaque development, which usually results in caries formation in newly erupted teeth. Therefore, the objective of the present article was to report a case of peripheral cemento ossifying fibroma occurring in the mandibular posterior region of a 11-year-old girl in association with both absence of premolar eruption and presence of severely caried first permanent molar.

A case of a single molluscum contagiosum occurring on the surface of a preexisting soft fibroma in an adult patient is reported. The most common clinical form of this viral lesion is multiple grouping papules with a central umbilication and its histologic feature is characteristic. Previous cases of mollusca combining with other lesions have been rarely described. Our lesion was probably due to its localization on the soft fibroma, whose exophytic growing represented a favoring factor for trauma and the consequent occurrence of the viral disease.

A 20-year-old man presenting with osteomalacia was found to have the Fanconi syndrome, as evidenced by hypophosphatemia with hyperphosphaturia, glycosuria in the presence of normoglycemia, and generalized aminoaciduria. After removal of a non-ossifying fibroma of the left tibia, the renal tubular abnormalities promptly resolved with subsequent healing of the osteomalacia. A humoral factor released from the tumor may have caused the disorder in proximal renal tubular cell transport.

A calcified fibroma caused a so called cervical syndrome not responding to medical treatment. In the computerized tomography a compression of the cervical spinal cord could be demonstrated. From this the indication for the operation was given.

We report an aggressive cemento-ossifying fibroma of the ethmoidal sinus that initially manifested as proptosis and was misdiagnosed as meningioma after a frozen section was tested. AIMS: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is genetic syndrome involving multiple tissues and organs including the skeleton. Because of prevalent tumours, NF1 patients often receive an MRI scan for the whole body. On MRI, skeletal findings resembling nonossifying fibroma (NOF) are frequently found. The clinical relevance of these lesions is unknown, so that diagnosis often leads to uncertainty for patients and physicians.
