The tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) class of anticancer agents inhibits ABCG2-mediated drug efflux. We report a case of a 40-year-old woman with lung adenocarcinoma who developed a drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) during chemotherapy with carboplatin, pemetrexed, and osimertinib. She presented with fever, extensive erythematous rash, and hepatorenal dysfunction (RegiSCAR score = 7). The role of Fused Toes Homolog (FTS) in epidermal growth factor (EGF) induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in cervical cancer cells was studied.
