OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study was to we describe the new surgical approach of constructing single site transperitoneal cutaneostomy with the use of sigmoid colon accompanied by skin modified fixation technique and its clinical outcomes.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: 89 patients were included in a single center study from January 2015 to May 2019. OBJECTIVE: To explore the regional anatomy of the rectum including the perirectal fasciae and spaces.
METHODS: Twenty-one cadavers (15 males and 6 females) were embalmed and their vessels were visualized by injection with color dye. We report a nine-year-old boy with acute lymphoblastic leukemia L3 (ALL-L3) and necrotizing pancreatitis in which necrosis was not limited to the pancreas. A uterus-like mass (ULM) is a central cavity lined by endometrial glands and stroma and surrounded by thick-walled smooth muscles. To date, 31 cases of ULM have been reported in the English literature. ULM typically presents as a single mass and is located in the pelvic cavity. We suspect that this diverticular perforation was caused by the deterioration of the sigmoid mesocolon secondary to the blunt abdominal trauma. To our knowledge, this is the first report in the literature about pneumomediastinum and subcutaneous emphysema caused by sigmoid diverticular rupture following mesosigmoid trauma.

We report a case of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) of the stomach mimicking extragastrointestinal origin. The tumor presented as a large isolated mass in the transverse mesocolon with a minor adhesion to the stomach. Microscopic examination revealed c-kit gene protein product (KIT)-positive tumor cells with epithelioid features. Complete mesocolic excision (CME) of colon cancer is a resection performed along embryological planes to include the completely intact mesentery surrounding the tumour with a high central vascular ligation.
