Clear Cell Sarcoma (CCS) of soft tissue is a rare and highly malignant neoplasm primarily affecting young adults, often presenting in the deep soft tissues of the extremities. We report a case of oncocytic lipoadenoma of the submandibular gland, previously unrecognized benign tumor of the salivary gland. The patient was a 66-year-old Japanese woman with a left submandibular mass, measuring 11 x 7.5 x 5 cm. RATIONALE: Paraneoplastic dermatomyositis (DM) is an inflammatory disease of the connective tissue caused by immunologic events in the presence of malignant tumors, which are typically related to ovarian, pancreatic, stomach, and colon cancer. Traditional treatment of paraneoplastic DM includes combination therapy for the underlying malignancy with systemic steroids.

INTRODUCTION: Soft-tissue sarcomas represent a heterogeneous group of rare tumors arising from the mesenchymal cells of the connective tissue. Approximately 15% of these tumors arise in the retroperitoneum. These neoplasms are locally aggressive and the only curative treatment is surgical resection "en-bloc". The main cause of mortality is locoregional recurrence. Five-year survival is 3-58%, depending on the histologic subtype and grade.

This benign neoplasm is characterized by gland-like structures with a pseudodinfiltrative pattern, usually involving fibromuscular tissue at a certain distance from an overlying surface mesothelium. We herein report two patients with connective tissue disease who developed primary peritoneal cancer (PPC). Serum Krebs von den Lungen-6 (KL-6) levels increased when PPC was diagnosed, and these levels were correlated with the treatment and worsening of PPC in both cases. In one patient with systemic sclerosis, serum KL-6 levels increased despite stable interstitial lung disease (ILD), leading to a diagnosis of PPC. Given the low incidence of musculoskeletal tumors during pregnancy, publications on the subject are scarce and treatment guidelines nonexistent. We present five cases of musculoskeletal tumors in pregnant women, three with metastasizing malignant neoplasms and two with aggressive giant cell tumors. The three patients diagnosed during their gestational period were operated before the end of pregnancy, adapting surgical techniques to minimize risk to mother and fetus. The association of malignant lymphoma with positive antinuclear antibody is uncommon, and their relationship is not clear. Here a 35-year-old man is presented who initially had a high titer of antinuclear antibody; later, peripheral T cell lymphoma was found. Psoriasis with oral manifestations is rarely seen. It has been reported in the past either as an oral manifestation of this skin disease or lichen planus accompanying psoriasis. Very few periodontal lesions associated with dermatologic psoriasis have been reported in the literature. This report describes a case of psoriasis in which exacerbation of the cutaneous disease was accompanied by gingival epithelial changes and periodontal bursts, together with a report on the light microscopy of biopsies from periodontal lesions.
