The acid soluble disulphides and mixed disulphides of a range of normal rat and mouse tissues and a number of transplanted rat or mouse tumours were measured. The result were considered in relation to other workers' data. It is noted that more radioresponsive tissues have higher levels than the more radioresistant tissues.

BACKGROUND: Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is typically characterized by the presence of coagulopathy and the PML::RARA fusion gene. The FIP1L1::RARA has been reported as a novel fusion gene, but studies on its pathogenesis are limited.
OBJECTIVES: A FIP1L1::RARA fusion in a child finally diagnosed as APL was reported. RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) of six patients (three cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), one case of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), one case of acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (M7), and one case of APL with FIP1L1::RARA) were performed.

Activity of cytochrome P-450-dependent monooxygenase system is significantly lower in hepatoma H-2-73 and Lewis lung carcinoma-bearing mice as compared to that in control animals. An inhibition of the cytochrome P-450 system was observed after the injection of ftorafur. Treatment of the mice with perfluorodecalin markedly increased the antineoplastic activity of ftorafur determined by a loss of the leucocytes and of the weight hepatoma H-2-73- and Lewis lung carcinoma resistant to ftorafur alone.

The real possibility of the development of remote effects in people after longterm EMF-exposure was presented in the world scientific literature. Many authors decided that there is connection between long-term EMF-exposure and development of the breast cancer, brain tumours, leukaemia and neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). The analysis of up-to-date publications leads us to the conclusion that this problem is actual and further researches of conditions provoking development of last-term effects are required.
