INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE: Porokeratosis is a rare keratinization disorder marked by atrophic patches with a distinct hyperkeratotic border known as a cornoid lamella. Genital porokeratosis (GP), especially involving the penis, is extremely uncommon, with only a handful of cases reported worldwide. Rabies is a vaccine-preventable, zoonotic, viral disease and a major public health concern for developing countries such as Nepal. A study was conducted from October-December 2021 among 308 household heads from three districts in Nepal (Siraha, Parsa, and Nawalparasi West) through an in-person interview to examine the rural people's practices towards rabies. Rheumatic heart disease is the most common heart disease in developing countries. This Global Health Report uses the results of screening 28,050 school children clinically with 2-dimensional echocardiography. A total of 1,739 students had cardiac murmur, with the most dominant lesion being rheumatic mitral regurgitation. This report concluded that the burden of rheumatic heart disease is decreasing, but it is still significant in Nepal. Japanese encephalitis (JE) is a major public health problem in Nepal. For the effective management and surveillance of JE, a clear understanding of its epidemiology is essential. Therefore, we conducted descriptive and spatial analyses to understand the spatio-temporal distribution of JE in human in Nepal.
