A 37-year-old man with Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome presented with an episode of painless severe gross hematuria. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed vessels of significant diameter in the bladder wall. Diagnostic imaging is mandatory in order to be aware of the extent of the lesion as the bleeding identified intraoperatively may only be the "tip of the iceberg." If conservative means fail, laser coagulation should be the treatment of choice.

Fetal bladder-outlet obstruction by ureteroceles is usually treated at birth. However, such obstruction may be detrimental to the health of the fetus and so in-utero correction is preferable. We describe the successful cytoscopy guided laser incision, with no complications, of a uterocele that was causing bladder-outlet obstruction in a fetus of 19 weeks and 6 days gestation.

The aim of the study was to evaluate endourological techniques in the management of iatrogenic ureterovaginal fistula. Seventeen patients referred to us after gynecologic surgery were diagnosed as having iatrogenic ureterovaginal fistula. First, retrograde double-J stenting was tried. OBJECTIVES: Evaluation of the incidence of urological abnormalities as revealed by urological examinations of a large number of patients with enuresis.
METHODS: Patients with the chief complaint of nocturnal enuresis were examined urologically.

PURPOSE: To determine the efficacy of a cystoscopic approach, as definitive treatment of ureteral fistulae, after failure of antegrade ureteral stent insertion.
METHODS: Of 43 ureter fistulae encountered over 4 years, 10 postoperative and/or postradiotherapy fistulae could not be stented via an antegrade approach alone. A cystoscopic approach was used, with the antegrade approach available as back-up, if necessary.

Fifty five women with a mean age of 59 years, suffering from urinary stress incontinence (U.S.I.), were treated by endoscopic percutaneous cervicocystopexy (Stamey's operation), 39 patients (71%) suffered from pure U.S.I. and 16 (29%) presented a combination of stress and urge incontinence. Seventeen cases of a solitary polyp of posterior urethra in children (ages ranged between 4 months and 12 years) are presented. All patients were treated endoscopically using a 10 Fr. pediatric cystoscope, equipped with a straight ahead lens, and a Bugbee 3 Fr. electrode to fulgurate the stalk of the polyp through the urethra, without meatotomy. The case notes of 1080 men with genital warts were analysed retrospectively over a 30-month period. One hundred and forty patients were identified with intrameatal warts and an audit of their treatment is discussed. When electrocautery and cryotherapy were compared the former produced a more rapid resolution of the lesions. Cystourethroscopy was performed on 16 patients with intrameatal warts. Reduction cystoplasty is a useful procedure to treat a large, poorly functioning bladder in boys with prune belly syndrome who are candidates for urinary tract reconstruction. The technique includes elliptical resection of all anomalous urachal tissue and sufficient detrusor dome to reduce bladder capacity to average size and to create a spherical detrusor.
