Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are the most common malignancy arising in Meckel's diverticula (MDs). To date, there are no large series characterizing these tumors. The National Cancer Database was queried for patients with MD NETs (n = 162) from 2004 to 2014. Patient and tumor characteristics as well as outcomes were analyzed. Diphallus is a very rare condition. We report a case of a newborn with absent anal opening and duplication of external genitalia. Examination of the external genitalia showed two well formed penises with fully descended testis within each of the separate hemiscrotums along with soft tissue mass resembling accessory buttock behind the hemiscrotum. Staged reconstruction of duplicated genitalia and anorectal malformation was done. We achieved excellent cosmetic and functional external genitalia.

The bowel is a challenging abdominal organ to image. A variety of bowel disorders such as congenital, developmental, inflammatory, infectious and neoplastic lesions can affect children and most of them are either unique to this age group or have a distinct clinico-radiological appearance compared to adults. Imaging forms an integral part of management of these disorders. This article will cover inflammatory/infective, neoplastic and miscellaneous disorders affecting the bowel. The authors will highlight the salient imaging features for those entities.
