CONCLUSIONS: In contrast to the current trend according to which the treatment of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) epistaxis depends on clinical severity, argon plasma coagulation (APC) has also proven to be effective as a first-line procedure in patients with severe nosebleeds.
