Myomectomy is the most common surgery with cesarean section. There is controversy between obstetricians about doing myomectomy with cesarean section. A 29 years old primigravida patient presented with a large lower segment myoma (20 cm.) who underwent myomectomy during cesarean section at the term pregnancy. Myoma weighted 1500 gr. She didn't have intra-operative hemorrhage or any post-partum complications. Intracranial subdural hematoma after spinal anesthesia is a rare and life-threatening complication of spinal anesthesia. The most common complication of spinal anesthesia is the postdural puncture headache. When severe and persistent headache after spinal anesthesia occur, differential diagnosis can be explored. In this report, we aimed to evaluate a patient with persistent headache following spinal anesthesia for cesarean section in a 31-year-old woman ,and emphasize a rare complication of spinal anesthesia which is subdural hematoma.

Here we report a case of severe septic shock immediately following cesarean section. A pregnant woman with dichorionic diamniotic twins was diagnosed with preterm rupture of membranes (PROM). Ritodrine hydrochloride and betamethasone did not sufficiently relieve abdominal extension; emergency cesarean section was scheduled 4 days later, at 31 week 5 day gestation. We reviewed the outcome for 211 women undergoing a planned en caul (within intact membranes) cesarean section and for 836 control women with conventional lower segment section, in the period 2001-2010 at a university-affiliated hospital in China, where the former technique has been practiced. We investigated morbidity and factors associated with failed vaginal birth after cesarean delivery (VBAC). In a retrospective cohort study maternal and neonatal outcomes of women who underwent VBAC in three Nigerian University Teaching Hospitals were reviewed. Univariate, followed by multivariate analyses, were conducted. VBAC was successful in 683 of 1,013 women (67.4%), whereas 330 (32.6%) had failed VBAC.
