Three females and one male aged 13 to 25 years and born to non-consanguineous parents presented with tumoral calcinosis. They presented with swellings on the extensor surfaces of their hips, shoulders, and/or elbows, with or without skin ulcers exuding milk-like fluid and scars from previous excisions. A phosphorus removal biochar adsorbent was prepared from Fenton sludge. The adsorption process was optimized, and its phosphorus adsorption mechanism was discussed. It was found that the phosphorus adsorption performance of biochar prepared from single Fenton sludge (FBC-400) was better than that of co-pyrolysis of Fenton sludge and bamboo powder.
