PURPOSE: To determine whether short-term patient-reported outcomes (PROs) after meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT) correlate with mid- to long-term PROs at a minimum of 5-year follow-up.

BACKGROUND: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries in adults are frequently accompanied by meniscal and articular cartilage damage. However, little is known regarding the association, if any, between physical maturity, hypermobility, or bone bruising and these associated injuries in skeletally immature patients with ACL tears.

Prior studies have not found significant differences in meniscal parameters between patients with meniscal and ligamentous injury and those without.
