We present a series of 100 deviated noses treated over 5-year period. A classification into four groups was proposed and used to determine preoperative strategy according to the type of deformation. The main corrective methods were lateral cartilage grafts for C-shaped noses and removal and reinstallation of the nasal cartilage for S-shaped nose and "lay down" noses. The different classifications used for amebic liver abscesses seem to be usually without direct therapeutic benefit. Echographic assessment was used to propose a new classification of amebic liver abscesses. A retrospective analysis of 202 premature deliveries before 37 weeks was performed to identify major pathologies related to preterm delivery. The clinical, radiological and surgical findings of 56 patients with congenital malformations of the craniovertebral junction who underwent surgical intervention in the Department of Neurosurgery, Hacettepe University Medical School were reviewed.
