Leprosy (hanseniasis) is caused by chronic infection with Mycobacterium leprae (M. leprae). The disease involves primarily the superficial peripheral nerves and the skin, but almost any organ can be affected. The clinical features vary and are determined by the host's immune response to the infection. A distinction is made between multibacillary and paucibacillary forms of leprosy. Aphallia is an extremely rare disorder with profound urological and psychological consequences. A retrospective study of zygomatic fractures is presented in order to analyse late complications and to evaluate the different radiographic classifications. The study comprises 109 patients with 111 zygomatic fractures. The aetiology was violence in 39% and traffic accidents in 28%. Associated fractures of the craniofacial skeleton occurred in 42% of the patients. Seventy-two patients were available for the follow-up study. Having analyzed the experience with examination and treatment of 182 patients with rectal prolapse the authors are presenting a clinical classification including the main criteria of the disease: stage of prolapse, degree of incompetence of the anal sphincter, phase of compensation of the pelvic fundus muscles. On the basis of the classification proposed the adequate method of treatment of such patients can be chosen. In 97% of patients the prolapse of the rectum have been liquidated, in 92,5% of them the function of its closing apparatus have been completely recovered.

On the basis of testicular biopsy study in 203 patients and study of a second biopsy specimen from 27 of these patients, prepubertal undescended testes were classified into four categories according to the mean tubular diameter, the tubular fertility index, and the Sertoli cell index.
