PURPOSE: Little is known about the pharmacokinetics (PKs) of oxycodone in patients with advanced cancer. There is considerable reluctance to subject these patients to non-essential tests including repeated venipuncture that has been necessary in PK studies to date. In a prospective, randomized, controlled, parallel group study the effect of different infusion solutions (HES 200/0.5 10%, dextran 40 10% and electrolyte solution) during and after intervertebral disc microsurgery on blood fluidity and conjunctival partial oxygen pressure was measured. The influence of the intravenously infusion of plasma substitute solution from the whey on the some indices of the lipid metabolism and the lipid peroxidation were studied in the experiments on the model of ileus. Resive data indicate the considerable alteration of the lipid peroxidation under ileus. The infusion therapy of the solution from the whey decreased the level of lipoperoxides and malondialdehyde in the liver and reduced the level of beta-lipoproteins in serum of blood.
