PURPOSE: Chronic non-cancer pain (CNCP) is a disabling condition affecting many older adult inpatients. While first-line therapy for CNCP consists of non-pharmacological approaches, many older adults receive pharmacotherapy nevertheless, putting them at a high risk of medication-related problems.
