In this paper, we report a spectroelectrochemical investigation of proton-coupled electron transfer in flavodoxin D. vulgaris Hildenborough (Fld). Poly-L-lysine is used to promote the binding of Fld to the nanocrystalline, mesoporous SnO(2) electrodes. In this article, an antibiotic, lincomycin was determined in the urine sample by microchip capillary electrophoresis (CE) with integrated indium tin oxide (ITO) working electrode based on electrochemiluminescence (ECL) detection. This microchip CE-ECL system can be used for the rapid analysis of lincomycin within 40s. Under the optimized conditions, the linear range was obtained from 5 to 100 microM with correlation coefficient of 0.998. Age related cytotoxicity of stannic chloride was evaluated in human lymphocytes considering mitotic index (MI), damaged cell (DC), chromosome aberration (CA), and micronuclei formation (MNC) as endpoints. Significant elevation of DCs, CAs, MNCs, and reduction of MI were observed in all classified age groups compared to each control set. The mean frequencies of abnormalities show a statistically significant increase with subject's age. Linearity of the effect of age was common for both untreated and treated lymphocytes of both sexes.

High-density single-crystalline Zn2SnO4 nanowires have been successfully synthesized by using a simple thermal evaporation method by heating a mixture of ZnO and SnO2 nano powders. The products in general contain various geometries of wires, with an average diameter of 80-100 nm. These nanowires are ultra-long, up to 100 microns. OBJECTIVE: Our objective was to determine the feasibility and detection rates and clarify the most effective combination of injected tracer types for sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping in uterine cervical cancer in patients who have undergone laparoscopic surgery or neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) frequently metastasizes to cervical lymph nodes, which is the most known prognostic factor. Screening methods to identify sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) are therefore of great interest for the management of potential neck metastasis. BACKGROUND: Preoperative lymphoscintigraphy may be informative when assessing nodal status in patients with early gastric cancer, especially for surgeons who are scheduled to introduce or have just introduced SLN biopsy.

The goal of this pilot study was to compare three tracers for the detection of sentinel nodes in patients with lung cancer. Forty-eight patients with clinical N0 non-small cell lung cancer were enrolled.
