A 50-year-old lady presented with a right foot mass and pain for 1year. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a 3.9×3.2×5cm mass on plantar side of the forefoot deep to the major flexor tendons and plantar aponeurosis and inferior to 1st-4th metatarsals. A simplified lateral orbitotomy is described that decreases surgical time and lessens tissue dissection, yet maintains the exposure to the orbit provided by other orbitotomy techniques. The approach involves cutting the orbital ligament, incising the temporalis aponeurosis from the dorsal zygomatic arch, making parallel zygomatic arch osteotomies, and reflecting the zygomatic arch ventrally. OBJECTIVE: To report the surgical outcome of aponeurosis surgery in patients with acquired myogenic eyelid ptosis and describe surgical guidelines for their correction.
METHODS: The clinical records of two patients with acquired myogenic eyelid ptosis after surgical correction were reviewed.

Camitz abductorplasty is the most commonly used tendon transfer in patients with severe carpal tunnel syndrome with significant muscle wasting and loss of opposition.
