Rabbit anti-human thymocyte globulin was given as an adjunctive immunosuppressive agent to 23 recipients of cadaver kidneys in the immediate 14 day post-transplantation period. Developement and organization of kidney transplantation in the GDR was studied, with data of 289 patients who underwent transplantation at the Kidney Transplant Centre, Berlin-Friedrichshain being analyzed. The five years graft survival was 42% and the patients survival 62%. In case of combined treatment of transplantation and dialysis it was 70%. Two cadaver kidneys were preserved by the perfusion method with AB cryoprecipitated plasma which contained antidonor lymphocytotoxic antibody. The kidneys were transplanted subsequently and no demonstrable immunologic damage to the kidneys was observed in the preservation and post-transplantation periods. This short report describes research on N-piperidinyl etonitazene, also known as etonitazepipne, in keratinous matrices (hair and nails) after death related to a suspected opioid overdose. Etonitazepipne belongs to the family of benzimidazole opioids, a class of new synthetic opioids that has penetrated the illicit drug market. Analysis in the case under study showed the presence of etonitazepipne in both hair and nails, confirming that the substance accumulates in the body with repeated intake.

Adrenal cystic lymphangiomas are extremely rare entities that are often identified incidentally, with less than 60 cases reported to date. We found a protruding ovoid mass consisting of a multiloculated cystic lesion within right adrenal gland in the cadaver of a 75-year-old Korean man.
