Hydatid disease is a worldwide zoonosis. It is caused by a parasitic platyhelminth of the genus Echinococcus. We present a patient with a fluctuating lumbar tumor in the retroperitoneal space, secondary to a hepatic cyst. the initial diagnosis was made by identification of rostellar hooks from protoscoleces in the fluid aspirated from the abscess. Bronchogenic cysts are benign congenital malformations usually. A retroperitoneal location is extremely uncommon. We reported a case of bronchogenic cyst occurred in the retroperitoneum in a 60-year-old patient. An abdominal CT for a prostatic adenocarcinoma staging has reported this incidental lesion. Biological, radiological and histological assessment confirmed the bronchogenic cyst diagnosis. The treatment of choice for most authors is surgical excision. However, because of a low malignant transformation risk, we have chosen a follow-up with abdominal computerized tomography every 6 months

A 39-year-old man who had a subdiaphragmatic bronchogenic cyst in the left crus of diaphragm received surgical treatment. The cyst was located in the retroperitoneum just below the diaphragm and was adhered to the left crus of diaphragm and unconnected with any other structures. The surgically resected cyst was 50 x 25 x 22 mm diameter and the wall was thin and contained white turbid mucus. A technique for dissecting the pelvic retroperitoneum and identifying the ureters and uterine arteries is described that makes use of the obliterated hypogastric arteries. The obliterated arteries are readily identified laparoscopically and, as relatively fixed structures, are easily dissected free of the bladder and surrounding areolar tissues. We describe a rare case of a malignant tumour of the rete testis which was diagnosed incidentally during scrotal surgery for an apparently benign left hydrocele. Adenocarcinoma of the rete testis is a malignancy with a poor prognosis. The beneficial role of prophylactic retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy is controversial due to the extremely low number of reported cases and the occasional description of primary lymphatic spread outside the retroperitoneal space.
