Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer (PCa) frequently coexist, posing unique challenges for the clinician. This article explores how various surgical and minimally invasive therapies for BPH can be utilized in patients with PCa, including those managing with active surveillance or pursuing radiation treatment. The discussion herein highlights the efficacy, complications, and oncological implications of these treatments. Ultimately, treatment selection requires shared decision-making and a multidisciplinary approach to achieving symptom relief while maintaining cancer control.

Vestibular schwannomas are benign tumours originating from the eighth cranial nerve. The incidence in Denmark is rising and is around 200 per million per year. Pure tone audiometry, discrimination score and tinnitus anamnesis determine, whether a diagnostic MRI is merited. Around one fourth of newly diagnosed patients receive surgery due to the size of the tumour, whereas the remaining three fourths go into a "wait-and-scan" regime. 30-40% of the patients in this regime experience growth and are offered either surgery or radiotherapy.

Acute Idiopathic Scrotal Edema (AISE) is an uncommon cause of bilateral scrotal swelling encountered in primary care. AISE is usually seen in children; however, several case reports have shown that AISE can occur in adult males. With the advent of automated equipment for blood chemistry determinations, many patients are presenting with asymptomatic or "biochemical" hyperparathyroidism. In the present series, of 136 patients operated on for hyperparathyroidism, fifty-three were considered asymptomatic. AIMS: To determine the long-term outcomes of ocular adnexal lesions in immunoglobulin G4-related ophthalmic disease (IgG4-ROD).
METHODS: This retrospective, non-randomised exploratory study included 82 patients with ocular adnexal lesions.
