Development of antidotes against botulism requires understanding of the enzymatically active conformations of Botulinum neurotoxin serotype A (BoNT/A) light chain (LCA). We performed small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) to characterize the solution structures of truncated light chain (tLCA).
