OBJECTIVE: To express and purify the recombinant major outer membrane protein (MOMP) of Legionella pneumophila (Lp) as diagnostic antigen, and explore its practical value in the serological diagnosis of Lp infection.

Trimeresurus flavoviridis (Crotalinae) snakes inhabit the southwestern islands of Japan: Amami-Oshima, Tokunoshima, and Okinawa.
