PURPOSE: To examine pre-cut factors associated with post-cut graft thickness in ultrathin Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (UT-DSAEK) prepared with a mechanical microkeratome system and to develop a nomogram to support blade selection.

The results of 27 keratoplasties done at the Royal Adelaide Hospital were analysed. The success rate of the graft was similar whether storage was as whole eyes (60%) or corneo-scleral rims (65%). OBJECTIVE: To expand knowledge on physical outcomes and psychosocial experiences of oocyte donors after donation across 3 age cohorts.
DESIGN: Cross-sectional mixed-methods survey.
PATIENTS: A total of 363 participants (ages: 22-71 years, M = 38.8) recruited from Donor Sibling Registry and Facebook groups donated an average of 3.3 times, with 77.1% using nonidentified donation. Most were White (92.8%) and over half (59%) were married at the time of survey. Average length of time from initial donation to study participation was 13.75 years.

AIMS: To determine the indications for penetrating keratoplasty (PK) at the Corneoplastic Unit and Eye Bank, UK, a tertiary referral centre, over a 10 year period.
METHODS: Records of all patients who underwent PK at our institution between 1990 and 1999 were reviewed retrospectively. Of the 1096 procedures performed in this period, 784 records were available for evaluation (72%).
