We aimed to study the effectiveness of two consecutive sessions of cryosurgery for actinic keratosis and investigate factors associated with its therapeutic success. This work explores the effects of different nitrogen functional forms on fuel-NOx emissions at 900 °C. The majority of tests are performed with an excess air coefficient of 1.4. Fuel-NOx is detected by measuring N-(1-naphthyl) ethylenediamine dihydrochloride (C₁₂H₁₆Cl₂N₂) via spectrophotometry. In the rat model of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the dilatation effect of prednisolon was most obvious after 15 days of nitrogen dioxide inhalation. In a longer inhalation, the dilatation effect decreases, and on the 90th day of the inhalation prednisolon enhances contraction of the trachea and bronchi. Prednisolon seems to act upon the respiratory tract via interaction with endings of afferent C-fibres. In prolonged inhalation of nitrogen dioxide, resistance against corticosteroids develops as the result of the C-fibre ending inactivation.

A randomized prospective clinical trial was conducted to determine the influence of dexamethasone therapy on nitrogen metabolism in patients with isolated head trauma without any pathologies.
