A 30-yr-old man developed right lower leg pain and a palpable solid mass. Radiographic imaging revealed a periosteal reaction with an exostotic mass arising from the right distal fibula. An orthodontic examination of an eight-year-old female patient revealed osteosclerosis with displaced tooth germs in the left mandible as an incidental finding. The patient has no known underlying diseases. Extraorally, there is normal skin colour without asymmetry with intact sensitivity and motor function. Intraorally, there is an age-appropriate mixed dentition with a discreetly distended mandible on the left.

Assessment of bone tissue density in aluminium plant workers revealed obligatory osteoporosis in them. When primary endocrine disorders ruled out, conclusion can be made of osteoporosis along with osteosclerosis as parity components in occupational fluorosis, so contemporary methods of osteologic studies are necessary for assessment of bone tissue.

A 4-month-old infant was admitted with a monoblastic infiltration of the skin associated with osteosclerosis. Both lesions spontaneously disappeared within a few months, but 2 years later, a monoblastic leukemia occurred that was associated with marked skin erythema and myelofibrosis. Skin and bone marrow specimens showed a monoblastic infiltration with numerous intermingled mast cells of normal appearance. Whether myelofibrosis was a feature of a systemic mastocytosis or of the leukemic process is discussed in this case.
