The first cases of congenital adrenal hyperplasia III with variable clinical manifestations in female monozygotic twins are presented. Twin "A" revealed severe hypertrophy of the clitoris, labial fusion and a visible introitus. However, twin "B" manifested moderate clitoral hypertrophy, a visible introitus and no labial fusion. Neither infant had palpable gonads.

We described the clinical, cytogenetic and molecular findings of 17 clinical equine cases presented for abnormal sexual development and infertility. Six horses with an enlarged clitoris had an XX, SRY-negative genotype, which displayed male-like behavior (adult individuals). An unusual case of complete duplication of the bladder and urethra in the coronal plane associated with left ectopic kidney, duplication of the clitoris and a chondrolipomatous malformation in the pelvic region in a girl is reported. The accessory bladder was located posterolateral to the normal bladder and a ureteric opening into the accessory bladder was found. The malformation was initially identified by US and cystography and confirmed by cystoscopy.

A phenotypic girl with secondary amenorrhea, enlargement of the clitoris, XY gonadal dysgenesis, and bilateral gonadoblastomas is described. The presence of secondary amenorrhea does not obviate the existence of a Y chromosome. The presence of the Y chromosome should be a warning that a gonadal tumor may be present and, therefore, gonadectomy must be done as soon as possible and preferably before puberty.

To determine normal reference latencies pudendal cortical somatosensory evoked potentials were evaluated in 20 healthy volunteers. The dorsal nerve of the penis or clitoris was stimulated electrically and the cortical response was recorded from the CZ-2 point (2 cm. behind the central vertex). Reproducible responses were obtained and reference values were established.

An 8.5 years old girl presented with enlargement of clitoris. She was chromatin-negative with 46XY karyotype. Gonadotropin value was high with slightly raised testosterone level for female. The authors report a rare variant of exstrophy-epispadias complex, a duplicate bladder with normal bladder communicating with an exstrophic bladder by a fistula, in a girl with no genital malformation except for a duplicated clitoris. This variant could be a hybrid form of duplicate bladder exstrophy and superior vesical fistula. It seems easier to repair and has a better prognosis than classic bladder exstrophy.
