An 83 year-old male with Gleason score 4+3 prostatic adenocarcinoma status post brachytherapy developed obstructive voiding symptoms 9 years after brachytherapy. Prostate-specific antigen was 0.67. Cystoscopy noted multiple papillary urethral tumors concerning for primary urethral carcinoma. Immunophenotype of biopsies supported diagnosis of Gleason score 4+4 prostatic adenocarcinoma. During a transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) in a patient with prior IPP placement, we encountered IPP tubing that had eroded into the prostate. It is extremely rare in childhood and may present with haematuria, lower abdominal mass or recurrent urinary tract infections. A 67-year-old woman who presented with stress urinary incontinence underwent a tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) operation. Postoperatively, she complained of urgency, gross hematuria and dysuria, which persisted for one week.
