OBJECTIVE: To synthesize currently existing data and investigate the prevalence of tooth transposition as well as its relation to gender, dental arch, and quadrant occurrence.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Several electronic databases were searched in order to identify the potentially relevant studies. Initially, 591 papers were retrieved. After applying specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, nine studies were eligible for inclusion in this evaluation. The 2002 Olympic Winter Games were held in Utah from February 8 to March 16, 2002. Following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and the anthrax release in October 2001, the need for bioterrorism surveillance during the Games was paramount. INTRODUCTION: Hurricane Helene's disruption of Baxter's North Carolina manufacturing facility in September 2024 created significant supply disruptions and an urgent need to reduce intravenous fluid (IVF) usage across our 12 acute care hospital health system.
METHODS: Our approach combined an integrated informatics and operational response that included real-time electronic health record monitoring, clinical decision support tools, and hospital-level operational interventions.
