Atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX) is a cutaneous neoplasm of uncertain etiology that develops on sun-exposed regions of elderly males. It is widely considered to act indolently, despite its highly malignant cytologic features. Reports of metastatic AFX are very rare, and recurrence is uncommon. The zosteriform pattern is an infrequent cutaneous finding in oncologic patients who have a skin metastasis from a different primary source. Herein we report a case of adenocarcinoma of the lung which presented with zoster-like lesions along the thoracic dermatome. The histopathology indicated a metastatic neoplasm with variable glandular formations. Immunohistochemistry results pointed to the diagnosis of metastasized lung cancer. We suggest physicians should consider this rare diagnosis when experiencing similar cases.

Eccrine spiradenoma is a benign tumor of sweat gland origin. Malignant eccrine spiradenoma is a rare neoplasm which almost always arises from a pre-existing spiradenoma lesion. In this article, we present a patient with malignant eccrine spiradenoma of the auricula with a prior diagnosis as benign eccrine spiradenoma. Although malignant transformation is usually associated with aggressive behavior, we did not detect recurrence or metastasis in four years of follow-up after performing wide excision.

Adamantinoma is a rare tumour of long bones, representing less than 1% of them. Adamantinoma commonly occurs in the tibia. It is locally aggressive and recurrences are uncommon after resection. Metastases have been reported in less than 10% of cases. The most common radiographic appearance is multiple sharply demarcated radiolucent lesions surrounded by areas of dense sclerotic bone. The authors report a patient who developed pulmonary metastasis 1 year after complete resection of primary neoplasm.

Metastatic carcinoma of the tonsil is rare with only some 100 cases having been reported in the literature, of which nine have resulted from stomach carcinoma. Tonsillar metastases rarely become apparent before the diagnosis of the primary neoplasm. We describe here the clinical and histopathological findings of a case of unilateral palatine tonsil metastasis as the first sign of a signet-ring cell carcinoma of the stomach. This has not been reported previously.

Tubular carcinoma of the male breast is a rare neoplasm which may have a biological behavior comparable to its counterpart in females. A case of male tubular carcinoma treated by radical mastectomy and postoperative irradiation is reported. There was a metastasis to one axillary lymph node at the time of diagnosis. No associated areas of intraductal or infiltrating scirrhous carcinoma were found. Microscopic gynecomastia was present. The patient is alive and well 8 years postoperatively.

PURPOSE: Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) is a rare, low-grade neoplasm with excellent prognosis. In this study, we evaluated clinicopathological characteristics of patients diagnosed with SPN retrospectively.
METHODS: This is a retrospective study intended to characterize patients with the diagnosis of SPN between 2005 and 2015. Clinicopathological features, recurrence rate, and overall survival of 28 patients were recorded. We present an extremely infrequent case of brain metastasis of a parotid tumor. To our knowledge, this is the second case reported of a brain metastasis of a malignant parotid tumor, carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma. Pleomorphic adenoma represents 60% of tumors of the parotid gland, and although it is a benign tumor, it can transform into carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma in 5% of cases, one of the most aggressive neoplasms of the salivary glands. We want to note the need for an accurate diagnostic. Thanks to aggressive surgical management, our patient survived more than 1½ years.

We present one case of Kaposi's sarcoma with conjunctive metastasis. The case describes a 71-years-old white male, who was admitted at hospital by malaise, slight pain on the left eyelid, nodular lesion of the left leg, and enlarge lymph nodes in inguinal regions. The conjunctive neoplasms are rare, and we most frequently can see the pigment ones followed by squamous epithelials and lymphomas. The primary Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) from conjunctiva is a rare tumor and it has increased by AIDS emergence and immunosuppression.
