Benign nonepithelial tumor of the urinary bladder is very rare. We experienced a case of a 33-year-old woman who complained of total urinary retention. Vaginal examination revealed a hen's egg sized retrovesical tumor. IVP revealed a filling defect on the cystogram. Cystoscopy revealed protrusion of left side of the bladder neck and intact mucosa. Combination of urinary bladder cancer (UBC) with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a prognostically unfavourable factor.
