An innovative, case-based continuing medical education course, Health After Cancer: Cancer Survivorship for Primary Care, was developed to engage clinicians in cancer survivorship care. A post-course survey measured the educational impact of the course on learners' intentions to change practice and changes in attitudes related to interprofessional collaborative practice. Qualitative analysis of free text responses was performed using the immersion-crystallization method. OBJECTIVES: Seeing Voices was an interprofessional, technology-enabled, large-scale, teaching and learning event developed to address the need to improve voice students' knowledge of laryngeal anatomy and physiology toward understanding and maintaining vocal health. BACKGROUND: Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) are the second most common health care-associated infection. CAUTIs represent a serious threat to chronic critically ill patients in long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs). BACKGROUND: This article reports on the first implementation of an online opioid-overdose prevention, recognition and response training for laypeople. The training was disseminated nationally in November 2014. Between 2000 and 2014, U.S. opioid deaths increased by 200%. The importance of complementary approaches to reduce opioid overdose deaths, such as online training, cannot be overstated.

The effectiveness of a social skills training group for adolescents with Asperger syndrome and high-functioning autism (AS/HFA) was evaluated. Parents of six groups of adolescents (n = 46, 61% male, mean age 14.6) completed questionnaires immediately before and after the 12-week group. Parents and adolescents were surveyed regarding their experience with the group.
