BACKGROUND: Enlarged lymph nodes are a common complaint in a Pediatrician's office. Diagnosis of reactive lymphadenopathy secondary to infectious, inflammatory, immune dysregulation calls for clinical investigation, including a thorough history, physical exam, imaging, and less often, a biopsy of the lymph node.
