Fumarate is an oncometabolite. However, the mechanism underlying fumarate-exerted tumorigenesis remains unclear. Here, utilizing human type2 papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC2) as a model, we show that fumarate accumulates in cells deficient in fumarate hydratase (FH) and inhibits PTEN to activate PI3K/AKT signaling. AIMS: To design a prospective study to investigate the efficacy and safety of TAF in pregnant women with chronic HBV infection during early-middle pregnancy.

BACKGROUND AND AIMS: Tenofovir amibufenamide (TMF) is a novel phosphoramidated prodrug of tenofovir with noninferior efficacy and better bone and renal safety to tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) in 48 weeks of treatment. Here, we update 96-week comparison results.
METHODS: Patients with chronic hepatitis B were assigned (2:1) to receive either 25 mg TMF or 300 mg TDF with matching placebo for 96 weeks.
