AIM: To describe the magnetic resonance (MR) features of thyroglossal duct cysts (TDC) in adults.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: Sixteen patients with TDC underwent MR imaging to obtain T1- and T2-weighted images and T2-weighted fat saturation images. In addition, contrast enhanced images were obtained in five patients.

OBJECTIVES: This systematic review aimed to assess the effects of bicuspid extractions and incisor retraction on airway dimension, hyoid position and breathing of adults and late adolescents.

Method:Nineteen patients with laryngeal stenosis caused by partial laryngectomy were retrospectively analyzed.Two cases were treated by endoscopic laser resection. Sistrunk procedure for thyroglossal duct cyst (TGDC) includes removal of the thyroglossal cyst, middle portion of the hyoid bone and the tract towards the foramen caecum. Endoscopic approaches have surpassed the traditional open approaches for the treatment of benign thyroid swellings and TGDCs. Endoscopic Sistrunk procedure using bilateral axillo-breast approach is a safe and better alternative for the successful treatment of TGDC and provides excellent cosmetic results.
