Due to improved diagnosis most tubal pregnancies are detected today before tubal rupture. Therefore various conservative treatment modalities have been described lately. In the present study 73 cases of unruptured tubal pregnancies are described that where treated with local and systemic PG application. With an initial beta-hCG level of below 2,500 mIU/ml serum, 45 of 53 cases could be treated successfully without classical operation. Etoposide was injected locally under sonographic management for the treatment of tubal pregnancy with cardiac activity in the distal region of the tube; the serum beta-hCG level was 14,000 mIU/mL. Two doses of 50 mg each, three days apart, were employed. No side effects appeared either during or after the treatment. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a sensitive method to diagnose a variety of gynecologic conditions. Uterine anatomy may be accurately imaged with MRI providing a noninvasive method to assess both myometrial and endometrial architecture. Since September 1988 to October 1992 in the I Department and Clinic of Gynaecology Medical Academy of Wrocław 40 women were operated on infertility due to oviductal factor. This kind of infertility has been previously diagnosed by hysterosalpingography examination and then verified in 22 cases (55%) by laparoscopy combined with chromotubation. To evaluate the incidence of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) in women with congenital uterine malformations, we examined the pregnancy complications of 67 women with uterine anomalies demonstrated by hysterosalpingography (HSG). The study group was compared with a control group of 130 women with normal-shaped uterus proven by HSG-matched for age, parity and presenting complaint. Resistant ovary syndrome has been confirmed in 42 women using clinical, roentgenologic (craniography, hysterosalpingography, pneumogynecography, electroencephalography), genetic, sonographic, endoscopic and histologic studies. Fibrocystic breast disease was identified in 64% and normal ovarian size in 74% of the patients with resistant ovary syndrome. Progesterone test was positive in 84% of the patients.
