BACKGROUND: Preoperative mapping of lymphatic vessels for lymphovenous anastomosis (LVA) surgery is frequently performed by indocyanine green (ICG) lymphography solely; however, other imaging modalities, such as ultrasound (US), might be more efficient, particularly for Caucasian patients.
