Copper(II) complexes have become a potential alternative to the use of platinum drugs in cancer therapy due to their multi-target mode of action. A new Cu(I)-chloroquine (CQ) complex [Cu(CQ)(PPh3)2]NO3 (1) was synthesized and characterized, and its mechanism of action studied concomitant with the previously reported complex [Cu(CQ)2]Cl (2). These copper (I) coordination compounds can be considered as potential antimalarial agents because they show better inhibition of the CQ-resistant strain in in vitro studies than CQ alone. Free-base, nickel(II), zinc(II) and iron(III) mono(4-aniline-ethynyl)biphenylporphines (AEBPPs) were synthesized and their electro-polymerization reactions were studied. The primary cancer of the fallopian tube is only 1% of all malignant diseases affecting the female genital tract. The etiology is unknown and is assessed with untypical symptomatic. It often affects women at age over 50 years old. Recently in literature are described about 1200 clinical cases. The primary carcinomaof fallopian tube resembles the epithelial ovarian cancers, which defines the similarity in the diagnosis, treatment and follow up of the patients with such type of pathology. We describe a clinical case of 66 year old woman with primary serous low graded cancer of a fallopian tube.

Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) behavior of luminol on an indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode modified with platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) was investigated in a neutral aqueous solution using the conventional cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique. Experimental results indicated that the ECL behaviors of luminol on the PtNPs modified electrode showed significant difference from those on the bare ITO or bulk platinum electrodes. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is generally difficult to treat. This is primarily due to the reduced liver function of most patients and the low sensitivity of liver cancer cells to chemotherapy. This has been demonstrated in many clinical trials. Molecular therapies might represent an improvement in the systemic treatment of patients with HCC.
